For some reason, the shirt color doesn't look the same as in person!?! In person, it's the color of the netting on my shoes, but with a different texture and pattern, obviously!

Today, I'm at my 80th post! Thanks again Monique for getting me to start this blog. It's a fun little hobby!

Here is what I wore today! I need to get myself to Montreal or somewhere I can get a new winter closet to add to what I already have. Until I get the time to fly there, I'm making outfits from what I have in my closet.

Style du Jour

The weekend was fun! I think it was our last boating trip for this summer, even though I'm hoping we'll go again in a few weeks and leave the top on the boat for an autumn day on the water. We'll see. Nonetheless, it was a fun day on the boat. Aside from that we had brunch with my family. We invited them to our house. And finally, my friend had her little girl this morning. I'll post pics soon. She's a cutie! We went to visit them at the hospital before dinner tonight with friends.

As for my outfits this weekend, I wanted to get more on camera, but I only got one in pic. Busy busy! :P
I'll try and post more this week.

Style du Jour

I prefer summer, but fall has its perks: the smell, the colors, the theme parties (I'll post more about this), the vineyards in bloom (and this), the wine festivals (and this) and a fashion season unlike any other; for example: wearing faux fur without socks ;), mixing seasons... (although I still do it in the winter time, especially the no-sock thing, come to think of it), but this time of year is made for it. I'll show you more of my examples of it this weekend.

Until then, here is an example! This is a dress from Zara. I can wear it longer or shorter. In this pic, I'm wearing it on the shorter side, even though it goes shorter. I'm also wearing a black Guess cardigan on top and a faux fur jacket from Forever 21! The shoes are from Zara and the leggings from Axara Paris.

This skirt, I think I posted before! It's a skirt I got from my friend's mother, who's a friend too. She used to wear it when she was in her 20s, living in Germany. She got it there!

Hello!

This summer, I kinda let my blog go a little. I didn't mean too, but we've just been so busy that I didn't take much time to blog. I'll try to be better now that summer's getting to an end. :)
