I love hats!

As you may already know, I love hats! Here are two I bought lately!

This first one, I had bought about a month ago. I liked it, but something was missing to get that little something more out of it. So I sewed on this chiffon flower. Underneath, you can notice a small feather, the same colors as the flower. I love this hat now!

This one, I bought this weekend in Halifax!

I'll take pics again when I'm wearing them!

Fashion Butter wore pants similar to these - although longer - in one of her recent OOTD and it gave me the inspiration for this outfit. I told her I'd mention her! Thanks girl! :)

Outfit Idea for SATC2

This is what I may wear for our SATC event!

Chiffon dress and leather jacket!

Purse and cuff bracelets!

Shoes!

I may also wear shorter footless tights*** which would edge it up, but I'm not sure yet! It's all going to depend on my tan or lack thereof! :)

I love the yellow purse but the pictures don't do it justice with the burgundy jacket. I may also include a yellow necklace, but I haven't tried the whole outfit on yet.

***The difference between leggings and footless tights is the material.

SATC 2

This week, SATC 2 hits theatres! Tonight, it's the NYC Premiere. I'm presently watching the Livestream online. For the past few weeks, I've been thinking up the outfit I'm gonna wear when my girlfriends and I go watch the movie. About 12 of us will get together next week! We're actually making a SATC day and night out of it, just for the fun of it! Can't wait! I'll post pics!

Colors and Layout

I'm playing around with the colors and layout of my blog. We'll see how it goes and if I come back to my original pink and purple background. I've been noticing that a lot of fashion blogs seem to have a white background. I'll try that for at least a bit! :)

Style du Jour

Today, again, was a hot summer-like day! I love it when it hits the 90's! That's when I love living at the beach. I got to be outside all day. Aside from landscaping (a little on my part :), I read my book. I love the story!

At night, I pulled on a Maxi dress to get a little dressed-up for company! We had so much fun! I love long weekends!

We had a little seafood feast: clams, scallops and shrimp. We also had escargots ready to be prepared, but we were too full to eat it. Baguettes and tzatziki were also on the menu. I guess it always is at my house. I love tzatziki.
