Fete de l'Acadie!

Bonjour tout le monde!

This past weekend has been another fun one. We got to celebrate Acadian Day Festivities with great friends. Saturday, it was a boating day before listening to live French music (a group named Reveil) at night until late night (or early morning). So fun! The next day, we drove to Caraquet for an afternoon of fun, a night of laughs, a late night of dancing to the sound of Swing and 1755 and a late late night (or early morning again) around the fire. :)

During the day, I wore shorts and a longer tank. At night, I wore leggings, a black tank and a light denim vest on top.

Today was another beautiful day; it was a fun and relaxing day! Here is what I wore!

It's comfortable and flowy and fun! I keep wearing that flower band in my hair, and my clogs. I love them so I wear them often! :)

I still haven't been posting much lately. So I just wanted to say that I'll try to post something soon. Tomorrow, I'm having breakfast with the girls so I will dress up a little. I'll take pics!

Style du Jour

Here it is for today, with a little surprise at the end. :)

Today, I spent the day at the pool with my aunt-in-law and a few other people. It was so hot and so fun. Later, we had dinner on the deck. On the menu: beef and veggie kabobs, salad, corn-on-the-cob, asparagus, shrimp and a sauce I love. Sauce recipe (try it before judging... it's such a good dipping sauce): mayo and ketchup (until orange), chopped green onions and fresh garlic. I dip everything in it... from seafood, to rice, to veggies, to meat... the meat cuz I don't really like it without it. I guess I could be a vegetarian, but I just love burgers. I could maybe try the veggie burgers a little bit more. I read about my blood type and I guess I could easily be a vegetarian. It says I would lose weight and have more energy if I were. I may begin to try it more, although I really don't eat lots of it right now anyway. I love cheese and milk and seafood though. Anyway, this post is a little longer than I thought, so here is my little surprise!

My friend Angele's little boy is already into fashion (or his mommy makes him be.. haha!) Here he is with his tiny Ed Hardy shirt. I just think he is adorable! Love you beaucoup Angie! xox

I've been away for a little while and I'm back. I started vacation last week and went to New York City. I go there every year with the girls. I'll post pics. For now, here are new shoes and a new headband I got in the City.
